Vic Mensa was arrested last week on a felony gun charge, according to TMZ.

The site reports that the rapper was pulled over in Beverly Hills for driving through a stop sign and having tinted windows. He then told police that he had a gun in the car and showed them a concealed carry permit. Unfortunately, however, the permit was not valid in California.

TMZ reports that Mensa was arrested on a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon. He spent one night in jail before posting his $35,000 bail and being released.
