Super Bowl 51 just ended and the world not only saw the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, the only overtime game in Super Bowl history, but arguably the greatest game in Super Bowl history overall. It was Tom Brady and the New England Patriots coming back from a 25 point deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34 to 28.

Prior to the game at Houston’s NRG Stadium a strong contingent of ATL music stars were seen together in unison including Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, Ludacris, T.I., 2 Chainz, Jeezy and Da Brat. While all of the artists’ sprits were high before and during most of the game, obviously the shocking defeat of their hometown team left them deflated.

Jermaine Dupri posted a picture of him and most of the aforementioned Hotlanta contingent on the field taken pregame. Every artist in the picture had their heads replaced with Crying Jordan faces. Dupri’s caption was just a crying emoji face.

“Great game,” 2 Chainz wrote on his Instagram, underneath a picture of him and Usher. “@atlantafalcons me and my atown Patna @usher was there for the best game ever, hopefully next year.”

Ludacris posted a screen grab of a FaceTime session between him and one of New England’s favorite sons, actor Mark Wahlberg.

“I’m laughing to keep myself from crying,” Cris, who said Wahlberg called to tease him, wrote. “Damn this hurts.”

The King of the South, Tip posted a video where he talked to his fans while leaving the stadium.

“You gotta lose the same way you win maaan, like a muthafuckin G man,” Tip said. “[The Falcon] came in this muthafucka man, they went up and eventually, I guess the coaching of Belichick, or the strategies of Tom Brady and Belichick ended up overcoming. And guess what? I ain’t gonna lie to you. I gotta dig in a big bag and pull out some shit for a lot of other people .”

Tip said he would gladly double down on his bets next year if his beloved Gridiron team made it to the big game again.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram page, Rocko did say there is a little silver lining after such a heartbreaking L. “PSA, IN ATLANTA, WE REALLY HAVIN PAPER! WE HIT THE STRIP CLUBS REGARDLESS!”
