Run the Jewels are back with a new banger titled “Talk to Me,” which also serves at the latest entry in the Adult Swim Single series.

Released on Monday, simultaneously commemorating the second anniversary of Run the Jewels 2, Killer Mike and El-P’s new cut is loaded with their signature abrasiveness. The song is a welcoming sign of what fans can expect on the highly anticipated Run the Jewels 3.

El-Producto recently spoke with Zane Lowe on choosing the song as their first single, explaining, “we always knew that this was probably the first one we were gonna drop. Our boy Jason DeMarco stepped to us and asked us to be a part of the Adult Swim Singles series, again, and we were actually, at one point, going to give him another jam but this one just felt right.”

While the album is complete and currently in the mixing stage, Mike noted that the album will be the “soundtrack for World War III and the apocalypse.”
