Rapper, poet and award-winning script writer Locke Kaushal is a Virginia-bred MC with an abundance of witty lyrics inspired by life. Locke released his latest track-track EP, VIRGINIA, earlier this year, named after his home state and inspired by the greats hailing from the area. With the collection, Locke—his stage name is derived from the Hindi term “Kaushal,” which means skillful and his government name—intends to make his own mark on the game and set the tone moving forward for Virginia.
