According to Foxy Brown, there was “overwhelming outcry” at the fact that she and Lauryn Hill were not a part of VH1’s_ Hip Hop Honors_ ceremony on Monday. She took the time to explain to their fans today (July 13) why she was #unbothered by being overlooked.

Her argument isn’t entirely cohesive, but she basically says the Hip Hop Honors were beneath her anyway, writing, “Personally, I’d Prefer Being Held To A Much Higher Standard In My Walk.” But, she felt it necessary to speak up because the “fans went ballistic.” She went on to say that she and Lauryn had a kee kee, and L Boogie is about to go on tour overseas, while Fox herself is working on an “incredible return
