The world of rap memorabilia is one that boasts everything from Tupac tour merch to gold-plated No Limit Records tank pendants to bags allegedly filled with Kanye West’s flatulence. Fans and fortune hunters alike have taken to eBay in attempts to cash in on what could very well be rap game gold.
Rappers and their kind can also be found floating around the massive internet garage sale looking to offload memorabilia — in some cases, to satisfy the tax man — or score something sweet. In 2004 Dipset general Cam’Ron famously made headlines after listing his signature pink 2003 Range Rover for sale on the popular auction site, with a starting bid of $180,000. The car later sold to Manhattan’s Auto Designers for a reduced sum of $50K. eBay has also hosted auctions for Eminem’s childhood home in Detroit, Young Buck’s gently used clothing and a $20 million yacht belonging to embattled super-producer Scott Storch. So what else has the rap game given up to the internet auction gods in recent years? Let’s take a look.

2015: Rapper Riff Raff trolled eBay users with an auction for an Air Jordan shoe collaboration, dubbed the “Neon Icon Proto Type Aquaberry Jordan.” The auction of the Riff Raff–themed shoe began at $1 and topped out at $1 million before Riff Raff canceled the sale. When approached about the authenticity of the item, representatives for Jordan Brand flagged it as a fake.

2011: U.K. rapper Tinie Tempah forked over $37K for the very first pair of Nike Air MAG sneakers — the killer kicks immortalized by Marty McFly in Back to the Future — during a live auction that coincided with the launch of the brand’s limited Nike MAG auctions on eBay.
2016: A lot of wigs used in the making of Lil Mama’s “Scrawberry” video are currently up for sale on eBay.
