Last year’s HARD Summer was plagued with controversy after two teenage girls overdosed while inside the festival prompting officials and law enforcement to consider banning all rave-related events on LA County property. While no permanent ban was implemented, authorities did set in place stricter security measures and guidelines for both attendees and HARD/Live Nation promoters.
While last year’s edition was held at the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona, this summer’s event will take place at the Auto Club Speedway located near San Bernardino, California on July 30 and 31. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m.
