Royce Rizzy, “Had To” Feat. MADEINTYO

Buzzing hip-hop pair Royce Rizzy and MADEINTYO released their latest offering, “Had To.” The TM88 and 808 Mafia produced track lends listeners all of the necessary ingredients for a well-made, pre-get lit stew: A catchy hook, a dash of bounce, and a cup of heavy bass and synths. Mix it all together, and there my friends, we have a trap-sound that will leave you turnt! — Erin Ashley Simon

Beyonce, “Lemonade”

“6 Inch” is officially the anthem for every sexy, professional, independent woman out there “stacking money everywhere she goes.” This song is erotic, empowering and features one of the best male artists of our generation, The Weeknd. It also includes a sample from one of the greatest songs of all time, Isaac Hayes’ “Walk On By.” From the crisp, base heavy instrumentals to Beyoncé’s alto vibrato, “6 Inch” is by far one of the preeminent songs off of Lemonade. —Amber Mackie

Nipsey Hussle, “Thug Life” Feat. Young Thug

On paper, you can’t help but draw a puzzling reaction. On first listen, it’s eh, interesting. In all seriousness, Nipsey is known for making the unlikeliest collaborations sound like the opposite. So over a soulful sample and melodic production, Nip grabs Thugger to prove just that on this slowed-down track, “Thug Life.” Sonically, the record is a bit scratchy and rough around the edges, but it works in providing the perfect outline for this gritty mouthpiece for the streets. —Ralph Bristout
