Janet Jackson made a major announcement earlier this morning (April 5), telling fans, “I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning out family.”

The 49-year-old singer, who is married to Qatari business magnate Wissam Al Mama, 41, announced that the second leg of her Unbreakable World Tour would be postponed indefinitely. “Please, if you can try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.

Although the announcement didn’t make it clear whether or not the couple are already expecting a baby, the news is without a doubt exciting.
