G.O.O.D. Friday will be in effect this week, this time in the form of Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz’s collaborative project, Collegrove.

In a surprise move, Kanye West took to Twitter this morning (March 2) to announce the LP’s March 4th release date.

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz debuted the project’s first single, “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday,” last month on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Kanye is expected to have a contribution to the LP.

Along with the Friday release date, ‘Ye also teased Collegrove‘s cover art, which features a profile shot of 2 Chainz interspersed with Weezy’s signature face tats.

In related Kanye news, after tweeting out the Collegrove cover, the G.O.O.D. Music captain posted a photo that showed him listening to Sufjan Stevens’ “Death With Dignity.” Nothing crazy compared to his recent strings of tweets, right? Wrong. As it turns out, a closer look into the photo reveals Kanye’s webpage tabs, which shows searches for a torrent download of Xfer Records’ Serum from Pirate Bay (yes, the same platform where The Life of Pablo was reported to have been downloaded over 500,000 times). Xfer Records’ Serum, a wavetable synthesizer, happens to be co-founded by deadmau5, who was less than pleased.

Hey, after all, Kanye did make this revelation last month.
