Just before the tipoff of last night’s (February 12) NBA Celebrity All-Star Game–highlighted by a showdown between pals-turned-rival coaches Drake and Kevin Hart, Drizzy couldn’t help but take a dig at nemesis Meek Mill.
“I mean, if we’re talking city versus city, this has been a tough year for you,” Drake warned Hart, referencing his rap battle with Meek and his Philly roots.
As the game began with a sluggish start for Team Canada, the Drizzy-led squad eventually got the momentum needed and surpassed Team USA to win 74-63 as fans in the Air Canada Centre cheered on and coach Kevin Hart (who suited up to play) sat on the sidelines in frustration.
Later, fans flocked the blistering cold streets of Toronto for a number of events kicking off the official start of NBA All-Star Weekend that included Kevin Hart, Team OVO, DeMarcus Cousins and K. Camp at the Ciroc-sponsored event with Amber Rose and her bud Blac Chyna and Kenny Burns.
