Between the news of constant Yeezy rollouts and artist-streetwear collections, it’s clear the worlds of sneaker rivalries and rap beefs are slowly colliding.
Back in September, Drake released his first Air Jordan collaboration, which was a sleek white leather and stingray version of the Jordan X. After selling out in mere seconds, Drake now gifts the sneakerheads who missed out on the first drop with another version of the premium Jordan. Apparel retailer, Sneaker Detroit, has just confirmed a release date for Drake’s “Black” OVO x Air Jordan X’s. The follow-up edition will be available on February 13, and will also be accompanied with some OVO x Jordan apparel including a duffle bag, t-shirt, hoodie, beanie and pants.
The coveted OVO J’s will arrive just in time for this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend on February 13 and available at selected stores priced at $225. For more info on the drop, click here.
