Before Coldplay performs in front of hundreds of millions viewers this coming Sunday at Super Bowl 50, Chris Martin calls shotgun in the latest round of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.

After Corden unwillingly picked up a hitchhiking Martin on his way to play the halftime show, the two immediately sing Coldplay’s “Adventure of a Lifetime” and “Yellow,” as well as discuss the rules of American football.

Along the way, Martin also takes a stab at his best impression of Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger, and even playing a simplified version of David Bowie’s “Heroes.”

When asked what artists are currently inspiring his music intake, he says, “Bruce Springsteen, I look up to U2…Bruno Mars.”

With Corden remarking, “No one will ever come close to doing what he did at that Super Bowl halftime show. Very difficult for anyone to match that,” Corden said. “Drop me off here,” Martin responded.
