Nas has evolved from a spit-fire rapper to a renaissance man, with a diverse portfolio of business interests, including his most recent opportunity: executive producing and overseeing the soundtrack to the upcoming film, “The Land.”

The project was a Sundance darling and directed by promising filmmaker Steven Caple Jr.

Machine Gun Kelly and Erykah Badu also co-star in the movie, which centers around a group of four skateboarders who steal drugs with a plan to sell the product to get out of a jam their in.

Nas is on board to executive produce “The Land” and he’ll also bring the soundtrack to Mass Appeal Records, where he is a partner.
