Kendrick Lamar came, saw, and conquered — but enough about the Compton spotlight’s 2015 run.

As one of the many highlights from his banner year, Dot seized hearts, ears, and the groove altogether with an amazing set at Austin City Limits last fall. Revitalizing his catalog of critically-acclaimed material like To Pimp A Butterfly and good kid, m.A.A.d city, Kendrick’s set made its way from the ACL stage to across television screens this past Saturday (January 9) for an hour-long program on PBS.

Originally taped October 30th, the show was not only the “i” rapper’s first-ever Austin City Limits performance, but it also happened to be a part of his Kunta’s Groove Sessions trek.

With his band, the Wesley Theory, in tow, tracks like “Alright,” “m.A.A.d City” and “i” received spirited upgrades that are good enough to cure that case of the Mondays .
