Coldplay will have a very high-profile guest star at the Super Bowl.
Sources have confirmed that Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé, will join the band on-stage during their halftime performance at Super Bowl 50 on February 7. After collaborating on the song “Hymn For The Weekend,” which appears on Coldplay’s latest album A Head Full Of Dreams, the megastars will headline this year’s halftime spectacle.
Not to mention, previous reports that Bruno Mars is also expected to take the stage with Coldplay at some point during the show. “Are you kidding me? It’s the greatest moment of our band’s life. We’re going to give it everything we have,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin promised.
And something tells us Bruno Mars and Bey aren’t the only VIPs we’ll be seeing on stage. Just word to the Super Bowl production, bring extra power, as we seen before Beyoncé knows how to shut a show down.
Super Bowl 50 will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 7, airing live on CBS.
