As Pusha T continues promo runs for his latest Darkest Before Dawn album, he stopped by Shade 45’s Heavy Hitters show.
During his sit-down, Pusha talked about what he and the G.O.O.D Music collective have in store for 2016, mainly dishing on himself, Big Sean and Kanye West.
After confirming an April due date for his King Push album, he also revealed that Big Sean’s next album will be released under G.O.O.D Music in 2016. As for Kanye’s long-anticipated SWISH, well…don’t hold your breaths.
Aside from his presidential G.O.O.D duties, Pusha also has a tour planned for 2016, set to kick off March 3 in Vancouver.
On Being The President Of G.O.O.D. Music:**
“I got a call from Kanye one day and he was like ‘Man, what you think about being the president of G.O.O.D. Music?’ And I was like ‘Man, so what that entail?’ He was like ‘You know, basically carrying on with tradition of making sure we get high quality music, make sure it get out there, make sure the rollouts of everybody’s projects, huddling the gang up.”
On The G.O.O.D. Music Roster:
“It’s myself, Big Sean, Teyana Taylor, Kacy Hill, Hollywood Holt, CyHi The Prynce and you know, still affiliates with Travis as well as Chainz, contractually.”
On 2016 G.O.O.D. Music Releases:
“The first two projects—we’re looking at mine and Sean’s. […] I got another album, entitled King Push that’s coming in April. Sean dropping. You know, the Kanye SWISH project, ‘he come when he wanna come.’”
