G-Eazy’s sophomore album rung in success opening with a six-figure US sales total (103k to be exact). But now that it’s simmered with fans a bit, he’s bumping the experience up a notch and bringing it to the road.

We caught up with the Bay Area rapper to talk about his recently released When It’s Dark Out album, now available on iTunes.

“A lot of hard work—blood, sweat and tears went into it,” he says. “It’s a real honest album, it’s real personal.”

He also talked about his upcoming world tour, set to kick off January 6 in Portland, OR with A$AP Ferg, Marc E. Bassy and Nef The Pharaoh. Tickets are available for purchase here.
