This year has welcomed a flurry of fresh new talent, with one especially ringing our ear, UK spitfire Little Simz. After releasing her debut recordings A Curious Tale Of Trials + Persons, the young emcee linked up at Red Bull’s New York studio to record with Canadian jazz trio BadBadNotGood, for an exchange of verses on her latest track “Our Conversations.”

The 20^th song from Red Bull’s 20 Before 16 series, “Our Conversations” is a laidback rap cut blending Simz’ hard-hitting lyrics and raspy vocal tones with BBNG’s live-meditative jazz arrangement. Making it a future-minded collaborative take on hip-hop and experimental sounds, which Simz “has long dreamed of.”
