We all know Lupe Fiasco is an artist, and he’s sensitive about his shit. Never one to hold back from setting the record straight about any of his albums, label controversy, and working in the music industry, Fiasco took to Twitter on Sunday (December 20) to announce his plans to release a set of three albums next year. The first of what he says will be three “full album releases,” Drogas, will mark the first recording of the series, and is said to be “the lyrical of life.”
The announcement follows Tetsuo & Youth’s release earlier this year, which met his final album quota under his contract with Atlantic Records, as well as alluded sequel to his critically-acclaimed sophomore album The Cool.
In support of the album roll-out, Fiasco will head out next month on his “Tour For The Fans” trek with 17 dates set across the US. Purchase tickets here.
