It’s been a wonderful holiday season for Adele. She’s smashed sales records and made all bow to the queen. Now, she’s set to hit the road.
The British songbird has announced a North American tour, her first in 5 years, which will kick off July 5 in Minnesota and find her making stops Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles before she wraps things up in November with a pair of shows in Mexico.
Adele’s 25 also continues to move units, topping the U.S. album sales chart for the third straight week, with sales of 728,000 albums. In three weeks the album has already surpassed 5 million in sales. Coldplay came in behind Adele with 210,000 sales of their A Head Full of Dreams and Justin Bieber’s Purpose LP continues to do well, selling 151,000 copies the past week to land at number 3 on the chart.
