25 is due out this Friday and Adele is taking every opportunity to debut new music. Performing an exclusive show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall for an NBC special last night (November 17), the “Hello” singer premiered two new songs off her forthcoming project, one of which she co-wrote with Bruno Mars.
An ode to her boyfriend Simon Konecki, “Water Under The Bridge” is more like, “I’m waiting for him to be horrible but I don’t think he’s going to be,” she told Zane Lowe in previously recorded interview on Beats 1. “This is the relationship now that I’m going to be in. It was quite a ground-breaking moment.”
And whereas “Water Under The Bridge,” is more a happy tempo from the moody powerhouse, “All I Ask,” resides more in her signature ballad department.
