Within the last year alone, Sango has shifted from the man behind the board to one of the most prodigious beatmaker’s of the coming generation. Releasing the final installment, Da Rocinha III, in a series of progressive, spaced-out drum work, the original Brazilian sampled material measures out as undoubtedly his most powerful work to date.

Comprised of 19 fluently solid tracks, the producer reveals on his Facebook page, that the album “is about keeping the funk carioca roots true and paying homage to the ones that helped start it. I want to respect and show Rocinha in a positive light with this record while staying true to my sound.” Uploading one of the standout songs “Na Hora” to his SoundCloud account earlier this week, the sound vibrates on an ice colliding frequency with an underlying layer of rattling Latin shakers for a party peak hit.
