It didn’t take long for Meek Mill to hit social media to respond to Wale’s interview with The Breakfast Club earlier today (October 21) where the D.C. rapper said his MMG label-mate brought a “pencil to a gunfight” in his battle with Drake.

Meek took to Instagram (which, he later deleted the post) and made it known he wants Wale removed from the Rick Ross-led collective: “# U not MMG NOMORE!”

When Wale was asked about his thoughts about Meek’s battle with Drake, rather than taking the high road that Rozay took, Folarin explained, “Meek Mill brought a pencil to a gunfight, a piece of paper and tried to paper cut him to death.”

The comment was easier on Meek than what fans on Twitter fired away at the Philadelphia star. Still, the candor wasn’t expected, even if Wale was trying to be measured about what happened. Meek then taunted Wale about being broke.

Wale issued a cheeky response of his own, writing he was looking for a “roof,” a nod to Meek’s joke about being broke.

Wale also touched on media, blogs and radio focusing on his Meek comments over other topics he discussed. Which, true, but, also c’mon.

It’s unclear where Rozay stands on this, but he did post this IG, though it could be standing is a habit and not a jab.
