Rick Ross, “Buried In the Streets”

Rick Ross is sure enjoying that bowl of Wheaties. Following the acclaim behind his solid mixtape Black Dollar, Rozay continues to serve the land by posting new tracks every week. His latest, “Buried In the Streets” features the Bawse jet skiing through the pressure as he rides atop splashes of luxuriant grooves and horn-blasts provided by producer Jake One.

Kirk Knight ft. Noname Gypsy & Thundercat, “Dead Friends”

Pro Era’s latest in command, Kirk Knight, is out to garner the acclaim and his latest number is a good sign of things to come. Before his debut album, Late Knight Special, arrives on October 30 (via Cinematic/Pro Era), Knight has been fueling the anticipation behind the long-awaited project with tunes like “Brokeland” and “Knight Time,” but the spitter’s newest track is an unarguable standout. Featuring Noname Gypsy and Thundercats, “Dead Friends” is Knight’s ballad for the dead soldiers (or Souljas as 2Pac had it one time) as he so poignantly croons, “Every time I feel alive, I think of dead friends / The rest is just dead to me.”

Pre-order Late Knight Special on iTunes.

Jeezy, “679”

Jeezy is turning this Hustla’s Holiday thing into a series. After jumping on Bankroll Fresh’s “Walked In” yesterday, Jizzle brings the snow to Fetty Wap’s “679” with Monty for one live gangsta party.

Wale, “Voices In My Head”

When he isn’t out there performing impromptu shows for TMZ, Wale is busy carving out experiences through music. As cliche as that sounds, the MMG rapper’s latest record adds depth to the latter line, as he teams up with Metro Boomin and the Highbridge Voices choir for a track that started from scratch and came alive in front of a live audience all inside The Sprite Corner in New York City. The result of this fusion ends up being a joint that well deserves the replay button.
