Anderson .Paak is experiencing a huge wave of success.
Since giving a stand out performance on Dr. Dre’s recently released Compton album, the California musician isn’t allowing any time to lapse before reminding us of his talent once again. And from the sounds of his new material, it doesn’t seem like he’ll have to do much to convince us.
He’s collaborated with LA production duo Blended Babies on The Anderson .Paak EP, a four-track project that features Asher Roth, Donnie Trumpet and King Chip. Just shy of 13-minute, the project itself is a introduction to .Paak (formerly known as Breezy Lovejoy) and his blended rock ‘n soul filter. It’s also a sensual escapade that’s the sonic equivalent of a summertime drive in an old-school Chevy.
Stream the project below, along with his supporting video for the lead number “Make It Work,” and be sure to check out Anderson .Paak performing on REVOLT Live.
