This is a bit of a head scratcher, but a welcome one: Kanye West’s 10-year anniversary of Late Registration is here, but instead of celebrating that seminal album, he’s set to perform another of his celebrated records, 808s & Heartbreak, in its entirety during a one-off performance in Los Angeles next month.
The big event will go down September 25th at The Hollywood Bowl and tickets go on sale Monday, August 31. 808s was divisive at the time of its release but in ensuing years, it’s been properly credited for its creative influence and opening the doors for artists such as Drake, Future and Kid Cudi, among others.
Update: Def Jam has announced a second date has been added, which will see ‘Ye perform the seminal project on September 25th and September 26th. Tickets have been available via pre-sale and will be available to the general public September 4th.
