Mac Miller sure knows how to waste time. The Pittsburgh rapper recently saw that with hip-hop sketch duo ItsTheReal for their “A Waste Of Time” podcast and Miller gave up the goods on his collaborative project with Pharrell, working with Nas and much more.

“That had the bangers,” Miller said of Pink Slime. “There were tracks with [Pharrell] rapping, singing hooks. One of the tracks we did actually ended up on Travis Scott’s album.”

But why didn’t it come out?

“It’s a shame, because the world didn’t get to hear a bunch of awesome music that Pharrell and I did. And I get hit up about that project by fans all the time. So we had a concept that was dope, we had music that was dope. Features, we had this joint with Styles P. With Curren$y. But, I think, at that point, I had to make decision, which I was proud of myself for making—Pharrell is this artist who is years in the came and all the way up here, I wanted to cement my own identify and what I did first. I wanted to put out Watching Movies, basically.”

Miller then goes on to explain a collab with Nas, meeting Eminem in Japan and a lot on Rick Rubin. Check it out below. Not a waste of time.
