It’s never too late (or too early for that matter) for a new Prince song. Off his forthcoming HITNRUN album, Prince shares his latest love-induced song titled “This Could B Us.” Backed by a Purple Rain-inspired cover, the progressive blend of synths, electronic guitars solos, and tinkling piano keys make for a intriguing tease of the new album’s sound. On September 7, Prince will release HITNRUN through an exclusive partnership with Jay Z’s TIDAL.

“HITNRUN took about 90 days to prepare its release,” Prince said in a statement. “If that’s what freedom feels like, HITNRUN is what it sounds like.”
