On Thursday (Nov. 4) night, Kanye West broke the internet when he pulled up to “Drink Champs” and — per usual — didn’t hold back on things he had to say. From discussing Drake, JAY-Z, his career, his marriage to Kim Kardashian, DONDA and other topics, viewers’ jaws were left dropped every few minutes of the viral conversation.
One of the many hot topics of the discussion came when West shared his true feelings about his former G.O.O.D. Music signee Big Sean. Last Thursday (Oct. 28) night, the Detroit dropped his Hit-Boy-produced EP, What You Expect, and revealed that that was the first release on his very own record label.
On “Drink Champs,” West said that signing the fellow rapper was something that he now regrets. “When I die, it’s going to say, ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean,” the DONDA artist said. Confusing N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN with that statement, West continued, “The worst thing I ever done was sign Big Sean…
“I know this man mama, bro… I changed this man’s family. Both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life. And that’s some sellout shit.” West added, “And I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apologies…but niggas is scared.”
After catching wind of West’s words, Big Sean took to Twitter with a message of his own. “Was just wit this man, he ain’t say none of that!!! And this was after the interview! I’m dying laughing at you @kanyewest,” Sean tweeted with pics of the both of them with Hit-Boy. See that below.
Prior to these tweets, Sean speculated that West was talking crazy about him, as well, per his earlier one below.
