Two new shows are coming to REVOLT — “Assets Over Liabilities,” an educational take on industry powerhouses, Black entrepreneurs and prominent hip hop artists; and “Love & Respect with Killer Mike,” a program showcasing the latest events pertinent to the hip hop community.
As the hosts of “Assets Over Liabilities” — they’re also co-hosts of popular financial literacy podcast “Earn Your Leisure” — financial advisor Rashad Bilal and educator Troy Millings will give a behind-the-scenes look into the business investments of different hip hop artists, such as Soulja Boy and Rick Ross. “Our mission is to create access to financial education that the Black community can utilize to evoke real change in how we view and handle money. We’re excited to combine trends, culture and business tactics in a way that is relatable to our Black and Brown communities,” Bilal said.
“Through this partnership with REVOLT, we look forward to breaking down diverse business models from our favorite artists to show our audience that there are numerous roads to success that they may not have had access to,” Millings added.
Entertainer and activist Michael “Killer Mike” Render will host “Love & Respect with Killer Mike,” which will exhibit a weekly interview highlighting honest conversations with several distinguished Atlanta public figures, including Big Boi, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Dominique Wilkins, Tyler Perry and Dr. Kimberly Manning.
“I’m lucky I get to call the Black Mecca that is Atlanta, GA home and I’m excited to bring some of the city’s major game-changers into a space to have an authentic dialogue with truth and clarity,” the “Reagan” emcee said. “We’re in a pivotal moment for social change, and this show takes place in the perfect location to bridge Black communities together.”
“Assets Over Liabilities” and “Love & Respect with Killer Mike” are set to premiere back-to-back only on REVOLT on Monday (Nov. 1) starting at 9 p.m. ET. Tune in!
