Hey everyone, I’m Legendary Lade (pronounced La-Day). A stylist, fashion consultant and all around sneaker lover. For as long as I could remember, I’ve always loved sneakers and if you’re like me — and most people — your outfits probably start from the foot on up!

So, here I am kicking off (pun intended) my weekly column for REVOLT.tv called Kickin’ Facts with Legendary Lade! I’ll be talking sneaker releases, hype and everything else surrounding this, so stay tuned!

Growing up in NYC, the Air Foamposites were a staple general release by Nike, so it’s only right I start my first column with this legendary model in its latest form, which is a collaboration with fashion house COMME Des GARÇONS. You can always expect a twist from CDG whenever they team up with Nike, and this model further expands on that.

Let’s start with the exterior shell, which has been altered, featuring a maze-like three-dimensional ripple pattern across the forefoot and midfoot. If you stare long enough, it’ll feel like you’re looking at a hypnotizing pattern, which is exactly what this sneaker is! It comes in two colorways, black and white, with contrast detailing on both pairs, including a small Swoosh at the forefoot and the classic COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS logo on the back heel.

Priced at $520 upon release Nov. 5 at most CDG retailers as well as Dover Street Market outposts, this model and price tag isn’t for the faint of heart! However if you’re a true lover of the Air Foamposite model like I am, you’ll see that this pair is a must-have! Personally, I’m leaning towards the black pair but the white is so crisp, you’re bound to turn heads with every step!
