Jaden Smith wants the young generation to think of ways they can actively combat racial and social justice issues. Hence, he’s launching a Snapchat series dedicated to just that.

In “The Solution Committee ,” Smith, who serves as the host of the show, will engage in conversation with celebrity friends including the likes of Common, Janelle Monáe, Yara Shahidi and Lena Waithe. Together, they will “explore and understand what we (the youth) can do to create change around the most important racial and social justice issues of our time.”

Smith’s show, which is produced by his parent’s company Westbrook Media, is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 21 with new episodes dropping on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

“Historically people between the ages of 18 to 23 have been less likely to vote. This is because a lot of young people feel like they don’t have the information or know where to get it. This show is about educating the youth and making sure they feel empowered and ready to vote,” Smith said in an Instagram post teasing the series. “The world is not okay, but together we can make a difference.”

Aside from a successful rap career, Smith is also an activist and philanthropist that has long supported various causes. After Flint’s water crisis made headlines, he helped residents filter their water and ultimately provided them with a new mobile filtration system designed to help filter lead and other pollutants out of the water.

Smith, also previously launched I Love You Restaurant, a vegan pop-up truck intended to help feed homeless people on Skid Row.

When speaking about his charitable efforts, he once told Teen Vogue, “Very early on, I realized I wanted philanthropy to play a central role in my life.”
