Following the momentum of his deluxe release of Time Served back in May, Moneybagg Yo is back with a remix of one of the project’s hottest tracks. The Memphis rapper enlists City Girls and DaBaby for a fired up remix of “Said Sum.”
Right off top, JT’s verse comes in blazing and even makes a reference to a 2000’s classic song:
“Audemars, baguettes with the crushed face, I leave a b*tch mad with the stuck face. Who the f*** are hoes playin’ wit’ anyways? City Girls make ‘em wish like Ray J.”
The deluxe version of Moneybagg’s project featured seven new tracks and boasted additional appearances from Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Big Homiee G, and Big 30. The original version of Time Served dropped in January and featured Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Future, Blac Youngsta, Summer Walker, Lil Baby, and Fredo Bang.
In June, Moneybagg dropped a music video from Time Served (Deluxe) for the track “Issa No (375 Flow)” which shows the rapper taking inspiration from the hood classic How To Be A Player. He also just recently announced a collaborative mixtape with fellow rapper Blac Youngsta titled Code Red, which will be available this Friday, Sept. 18.
In an interview with REVOLT back in April, Moneybagg shared some wisdom about ownership and having other business ventures:
It’s important because you’ve got your old fans, you know — people that only rock with you – so you’ve got to show them a new side to you and your brand, you know what I’m saying? And then, you’ve got to let everyone know what you got goin’ on, so they can vibe to it. So, you’ve got to have your own stuff [besides the music], period.
