YG and Kehlani have been a thing.

TMZ reports that they kept their relationship under wraps for months before going public. However, Kehlani is not the reason YG is no longer with the women who recently had his child.

Sources close to the couple said that YG separated from his baby mama, Catelyn Sparks, before he got into a relationship with the singer, and all parties are okay with how things played out.

YG and Kehlani seemingly confirmed their new romance on Thursday (Sept. 5) while attending a Kith fashion show in New York City. That was the first time the couple stepped out publicly.

Kehlani revealed the news on her Instagram. She uploaded a photo of them together at the fashion show, along with a caption that said, “Cats out the bag.” She also confirmed the news with TMZ. When asked by a cameraman if she and YG are dating, Kehlani responded, “Mhmm.”

YG confirmed back in July that he and Sparks welcomed their second child, Vibe. YG and Sparks also have a three-year-old daughter named Harmony.

Kehlani also welcomed her first child earlier this year. The singer gave birth to a baby girl named Adeya back in March.

Kehlani has been candid about the hurt she’s suffered in past relationships. When announcing her pregnancy on Instagram, she wrote, “I am so honored to be given this gift by spirit, creator, and an amazing partner whom i trust with my body and life. After a very traumatic experience that had me afraid of interacting with men as a whole for what i was sure would be forever (i’ll tell that story when it’s time). i knew sharing something so personal and precious could bring stress into my world but there isn’t a word anyone would say my way that could take away from this.”
