For any Lil Wayne fan, Sept. 27 is a special day: it’s Weezy’s birthday. This time around, Wayne turns the big 37. In an effort to honor her father, Reginae Carter posted a heartfelt birthday tribute.

“Happy birthday daddy!” she began. “I actually get excited for your birthday because it’s so hard to get you something but I always find the best gifts for you that you use on a regular basis and it makes me so happy! But anyways … I love you so much, father! Not only are you talented but you’re so intelligent and wise . I love getting advice from you. Keep being a great dad! If you ever need any reassurance that you are the goat (not just with this music stuff ) with everything! Pick up your phone and call your daughter & that’s on Period! I love you, daddy! I can’t wait to see u this week.”

Reginae wasn’t the only one to honor Tunechi. Several fans posted heartwarming messages regarding Wayne’s birthday on social media. “Happy 37th Birthday to my another idol @LilTunechi Keep inspiring us Legend,” one fan wrote. Another added, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @LilTunechi my favorite rapper of all time, Celebrate the GOAT by posting your favorite lyrics from his song.”

Last month, while speaking with New Orleans radio station, Q93, Wayne confirmed that his upcoming album, Funeral, is on the way. Wayne revealed the news when asked by radio host, Wild Wayne, whether or not he would release a follow-up to Tha Carter V, which featured Travis Scott, Nivea, Swizz Beatz and more. “I’m not sure,” Wayne said. “I wouldn’t count it out but the Funeral is my next album. I’ma be dropping that by the end of the year.”
