“I got more slaps than The Beatles,” Drake spits on Meek Mill’s “Going Bad” record.
Two months ago, Drake beat The Beatles’ Top 10 Hits record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. To celebrate his achievement, Drake gifted himself a brand new tattoo. On his arm, Drake inked The Beatles’ iconic Abbey Road cover. To add some flare, Drake also included an image of himself waving as he stands in front of The Beatles.
It appears as if Drake got the artwork done during the time of his OVO Festival. For this year’s annual event, Drake surprised the crowd with appearances by Lil Baby, Popcaan, Gucci Mane, YG, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
When the unforgettable night came to a close, Champagne Papi expressed gratitude towards everyone who was involved. “Thank you to Lil Baby, Da Baby, Popcaan, Gucci Mane, YG, Tyga, Rick Ross, Meg, Cardi and Set, Meek Mill, and Breezy for blessing the city last night!!! I am beyond grateful for all the artists that take time out of their schedules to travel and show so much love!” he wrote as his Instagram caption.
Understandably, Drake has been busier than ever. On Aug. 2, Drake released his Care Package LP, which features loosies that never made it to any of his albums. Some of the popular tracks included on the LP are “Trust Issues,” “Dreams Money Can Buy,” “Days in the East” and “Paris Morton Music.”
Over the past couple of months, the Toronto spitter has been hinting that he is in album mode. Recently, Drake made a public service announcement that he was facing connection issues while trying to “cook up” new music. Drake addressed his concerns to the Mayor of Pickering.
“Can the mayor of Pickering set up some stronger wifi towers so @boi1da can be able to send all his newest beats?? Trying to cook up. Thanks,” he wrote to his Instagram stories.
