Andre 3000 has joined the cast of AMC’s upcoming series “Dispatches From Elsewhere.”
According to AJC, Three Stacks will star in the series alongside Jason Segal. The show will focus on a “group of people who stumble onto a peculiar puzzle that hides behind everyday life and discover an ever-deepening mystery.” The show has already begun filming in Philadelphia, which probably explains all of the recent Andre 3000 spottings that have gone viral on the internet.
An Instagram user in Philadelphia posted a short clip of Andre playing his fruit walking down the street, while other fans have posted selfies from their encounter with the mysterious rapper.
Last year, 3000 made an appearance in the Sci-Fi film High Life with Twilight actor Robert Pattinson. The rapper played Tcherny, who goes on an intergalactic trip to the black hole in space with Pattinson’s character Monte and a band of other inmates played by Mia Goth, Lars Eidinger, Ewan Mitchell, Agata Buzek, Jessie Ross and Claire Tran. He also played Jimi Hendrix in the biopic Jimi: All Is by My Side, as well as starred in season two of the ABC series “American Crime.” “Dispatches From Elsewhere” will debut in 2020.
