Megan Thee Stallion already has the summer on lock thanks to her debut mixtape Fever, but she’s looking for her fans to join her in becoming a more “eco-friendly hottie” to combat climate change.

On Friday, the “Big Ole Freak” rapper was chatting with fans on Instagram Live when she mentioned that a fan asked her to bring awareness to global warming and asked her to try to come up with ways her fanbase could help save the environment.

“I’m really about to get on my hot girl shit and use less plastic,” she said to her fans watching the live video. “And I’m going to try to use the same water bottle,” she continued.

Megan didn’t stop there. She also proposed a plan that would allow her fans to get involved on the ground level. “I’m thinking about organizing a little beach cleanup for all the hotties,” she pitched to her fans, “y’ all gotta come in y’ all bikinis and clean up some shit!”

Additionally, Megan says she wants to look into planting trees. “I didn’t know how much shit you have to go through to get permission to do that. I’m definitely putting that together.”

On Saturday, Megan continued her eco hottie movement by posting tips on staying green on her Instagram and Twitter. “Hey Hotties these are a few things I’m starting today! If you’re already an eco-friendly hottie please comment more ways to help,” she tweeted. The tips she posted included using reusable bags, eating less meat and recycling.

Megan is having a phenomenal 2019, her Fever mixtape debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, her 2018 EP Tina Snow is also on the Billboard 200 chart and her breakout single “Big Ole Freak” is gold. She will also make her debut appearance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam today (June 2), and she’s expected to perform WPGC’s Birthday Bash in Washington D.C. on June 5.
