From having to postpone multiple concerts to fending off criticisms offline stemming from her recent plastic surgery, Cardi B is over it.
Following her choice to get liposuction and breast augmentation procedures done after the birth of her first daughter, Kulture, the Bronx rapper opened up with fans about the experience, including venting her frustrations during the recovery process.
Taking to Twitter, Cardi B vowed to never get plastic surgery again, noting how she’s opted to hit the gym instead as of late.
“I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause b—h I ain’t getting surgery again,” she tweeted Wednesday (June 12). “But let me tell you I haven’t got a headache ever since.”
Earlier in the week, the Bronx native showed off her swollen feet on her Instagram stories, showcasing how the recent procedures have impacted her daily routine and forced her to take a break from performing.
“Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane imagine my body Reasons why doctors told me to chill on shows … My stomach gets even more puffy. My feet and stomach burn when I get puffed up,” she wrote.
As previously reported, Cardi B’s doctor advised her to take some time off in order to fully heal before returning to the stage.
“You know, I hate canceling shows because I love money,” Cardi B shared with her followers last month. “I’m a money addict, and I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows … like I’m cancelling millions of dollars in shows. But like, health is wealth, so I have to do what I have to do. My breasts gotta f–king heal, and it is what it is.”
As a result of having to cancel a slew of performances, Cardi B admitted she’s lost out on millions. While defending her right to get plastic surgery as she freely chooses, it sounds like the rapper and entertainer is all set on getting work done in the future.
