UPDATE: On Friday (May 10), Kim Kardashian announced the arrival of their baby boy on Twitter. “He’s here and he’s perfect!” she wrote. The proud mom went on to share that Yeezy’s second son looks exactly like their daughter, Chicago. “He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her,” Kardashian stated.

ORIGINAL STORY: Congrats are in order for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

The longtime couple is expecting their fourth child, a baby boy via surrogate, any moment now. The news was confirmed by Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, when she stopped by during a taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday (May 9). What was originally supposed to be a sit down between the talk show host, Kris Jenner and all of the Kardashian children turned into a surprise announcement of the latest bundle of joy on the way.

Sources told TMZ that matriarch and momager Jenner didn’t have a clue Kardashian and West would be canceling their appearance last minute. The proud parents reportedly spent the evening at the hospital with their surrogate awaiting their child’s arrival.

Earlier in the week, Kardashian shut down erroneous reports that their surrogate had gone into labor on the day of the Met Gala. “Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that’s not true!” she tweeted, adding, “It’s Met Monday, I’m in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol”

This will be the fourth addition to their growing family. In June 2013, Kardashian gave birth to their first child, a daughter named North West. In December 2015, the reality star gave birth to their second child, a son named Saint West. After suffering difficult pregnancies with both children, the couple decided to choose a surrogate for their third pregnancy. Their daughter, Chicago West, was born via gestational carrier in January 2018.

Kardashian and West began dating in April 2012 and got engaged on Kardashian’s 33rd birthday in October 2013. In May 2014, the couple famously tied the knot in Florence, Italy. No word yet on if baby no. 4 has arrived as of press time, but an early congrats to the couple on their newest addition.
