Solange is reminding fans exactly how to properly execute a roll-out, all without compromising artistic integrity for marketing purposes. In other words, the Houston-born singer has been expertly dropping hints that are as exciting as they are stunning visually.

First, she began teasing what will be the follow-up to 2016’s A Seat At The Table last fall during an interview with T Magazine. Now, a couple months removed, the 32-year-old is wasting no time getting right down to business.

This week, Solange broke her sparing use of social media to drop one vague update after another. She began by unveiling a BlackPlanet page with tour dates and sharing two video teasers, going on to shout out Mike Jones and garner speculation regarding if she’ll be launching a hotline utilizing the Houston rapper’s infamous phone number, 281-330-8004. When calling the number, which was immortalized lyrically via 2005’s “Back Then,” a busy signal can be heard.

On Thursday (Feb. 28), Solange shared what appears to be a tracklist, as well as a SmartURL that links to streaming services. The link in question makes it extremely likely the album will drop as soon as tonight and will be titled, When I Get Home. At the time of this report, the streaming links are not yet functioning.

Given the gorgeous, cinematic nature of the teasers she has shared, many are speculating the project will be accompanied by a visual album similar to that of her sister Beyoncé’s magnum opus, Lemonade.

The tracklist, which features 19 songs, appears in the form of an infographic, providing fans with their own interpretation and approach to unpacking what the Grammy Award-winning artist is about to deliver.

Solange’s representatives have not offered any further commentary regarding what she has planned, but all signs are pointing to the fact fans will be in for a surprise to cap off this year’s Black History Month. Needless to say, excitement is in the air.
