Soulja Boy is having quite the vibrant press run this week, beginning with his now-viral “Breakfast Club” interview (Jan. 16) during which he proclaimed he had the biggest comeback of 2018 and taught Drake how to best navigate the rap game.

As Soulja Boy continued making the rounds at various press outlets in New York City, the rapper’s pitstop at Sirius XM soon turned into yet another talking point on social media.

During the visit, Soulja ran into New York rapper Casanova at the station’s headquarters where a conversation quickly escalated between the pair. The incident stemmed from how Casanova allegedly witnessed Soulja treat a woman who was also in the building.

“You screamed at a lady,” Casanova said, calling out Soulja for his behavior. “You bugging the f—k out, homie. You got s—t all over your face. Are you bugging out? You high? You smacked? You don’t see how she ran out?”

Soulja was quick to defend himself by responding, “You don’t understand how they was treatin’ me. If they females, then she need to talk like a female. If she female, why she talkin’ like a gangsta?”

Casanova, however, wasn’t here for Soulja’s rebuttal. So, he added, “What, you gonna hit the female? Aight, so why you scared of a female? You supposed to be on a big major platform.”

Soon thereafter, Soulja’s security began to intervene by making sure the situation didn’t spiral out of control.

While the incident didn’t result in another larger issue between the two rappers, some are responding on social media that the whole verbal altercation was just for spectacle, especially considering Casanova’s violent past. Back in August 2018, he turned himself into authorities after being accused of assaulting a woman in a diner in New York.
