Machine Gun Kelly isn’t all that impressed with Eminem’s rebuttal to his diss track, “Rap Devil,” explaining in a new interview on The Breakfast Club he found Em’s response to be a “six.”

The track in question, “Killshot,” was released last week on Sept. 14, going on to earn 38.1 million views on YouTube and subsequently break the record for the largest debut of a rap song in the platform’s history.

However, while the beef certainly has everyone talking, MGK has no plans on responding at this stage in the game.

During the in-depth conversation Thursday (Sept. 20), the 28-year-old explains how he feels the 45-year-old should have left their initial issues in the past, sharing that the pair settled the situation privately six years ago. For those not up to speed, years ago, MGK tweeted about how Eminem’s daughter was “hot as f—k” in a now-deleted tweet, with many taking issue that his daughter was 16 at the time (and Kelly 22 at the time).

While reflecting on the situation, MGK explains he didn’t know Em’s daughter’s age at the time and has since owned the fact that the tweet crossed a line, making it that much more frustrating that the Detroit rapper brought it back to the spotlight on his surprise Kamikaze album.

“It’s a six for me, dog,” Kelly said, commenting on how he feels. “‘Killshot’ was a leg shot. With ‘Rap Devil,’ we’re talking about facts while you want to talk about man buns? Answer the fucking facts. I’m an actor homie, how disconnected are you? You called me a mumble rapper. Let’s pour some out for this old dumbass.”

Elsewhere throughout the interview, he explains his perspective about both him and Em being on Interscope and how he feels that impacted his career, as well as talked about how the beef isn’t a fabricated ploy to sell records, although MGK laughs that would be great if true.

“I can’t help that I’m on point. I can’t help that it took this for y’all to see my talent,” he shared, in response to people criticizing where his career is at, going on to list his accolades from recent years.

The conversation also brings up G-Eazy and Halsey, with MGK admitting he did hook up with the latter, another aspect that brought this bubbling beef to the surface.

Later throughout the interview, Kelly shares he still has no intention of responding to Eminem.

“I had a clip ready,” Kelly explained. “I heard ‘Killshot’ and I put that shit back in the holster. This wasn’t on my path anyway. I’m on a tour opening for a rock band in a completely different mindstate than this, but thank you for bringing me back.”
