When we spoke to Robert Glasper back in 2016, fresh off releasing his ArtScience LP, he detailed the process of creating the album, which he described as “very much fusion,” saying, “I just said, ‘Let’s not have any preconceived notion of what it should be.’” What resulted was an all-inclusive project that has since caught the attention of Kaytranada.

The super-producer announced last night (March 8) that he’s collaborated with Glasper to create The ArtScience Remixes, an eight-track rework of the original. The EP drops on Record Store Day (April 21) and will feature appearances from Don Cheadle, Talib Kweli, and more.
