“Mixtape Logic” is back, much like Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty discussed earlier this week in a quippy promotional clip.
This weekend (March 9) saw the release of the Maryland rapper’s latest, Bobby Tarantino II. The project arrives a little less than a year after the release of his third studio album, Everybody, which included the Grammy-nominated track, “1-800-273-8255.”
While Logic was preparing for the mixtape’s release, after teasing and hinting at the project for quite some time, he fired off three singles, “44 More,” “Overnight” and “Everyday,” the latter of which featured Marshmello.
As exemplified by the mixtape’s album art, the rapper is paying homage to famed director Quentin Tarantino in a variety of ways, with the 13-track offering showcasing Logic’s lyrical skills and showing a more rigid side than “album Logic” does.
