The Game, like majority of rappers do, has an influence that spans a diverse group of fans.
Recently, during a run-in with TMZ, retired U.S. Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill, who is credited with firing the shot that killed Osama bin Laden, revealed that he too is a fan of the Game and his relentless West Coast sound.
During the conversation, he recalls that he actually was listening to Game’s track “Red Nation,” prior to the 2011 raid that made history.
“The night of [the raid], yeah, I actually listened to ‘Red Nation’ by the Game,” he shared with TMZ. “Yeah, that’s no kidding. He’s got some good stuff going on.”
The track in question appears on Game’s 2001 project, The R.E.D. Album, and features Lil Wayne.
