After releasing their joint studio album, Friday on Elm Street this past November, Fabolous and Jadakiss return with a new visual off the project. For the video for “Soul Food,” both rappers’ kids make adorable cameos, highlighting their off-stage daddy duties and the importance of spending quality time with their loved ones.
TOKiMONSTA, “I Wish I Could” feat. Selah Sue
LA-based producer ToKIMONSTA (née Jennifer Lee)’s new visual for “I Wish I Could” is an extremely powerful and personal one, doubling as the first song she was able to complete after recovering from undergoing two brain surgeries. The video, which is directed by Mitchell deQuilettes, showcases an E.R. physician (played by Isabelle Yamin), telling an emotional and raw story highlighting trauma treatment and the realities of the healthcare system in the U.S.
Young Thug x Birdman, “Lil One”
Birdman and Young Thug join forces once again, this time with a single linked to the Cash Money boss’ soundtrack for his rumored documentary, Before Anythang: The Story Behind the Cash Money Records Empire. Paris Hilton makes a cameo in the Be El B-directed cut, joining the frequent collaborators for a lavish-but-laid-back hangout in a lavish mansion.
Lil Durk, “1 (773) Vulture”
Earlier this year, Lil Durk flipped Logic’s hit single “1-800-273-8255,” giving the suicide awareness track a remix treatment that speaks to his experiences and perspectives about life on the street, gun violence and drug addiction. The powerful visual, which was shot by JerryPHD, is dedicated to fellow Chicago rapper Fredo Santana, who passed away just over a week ago from a fatal seizure.
Rob $tone, “Uncle Ben”
In celebration of his 23rd birthday, Rob $tone has released a new visual off his debut album, Don’t Wait For It. During the Fabrizio Siboldi-directed visual of “Uncle Ben,” the San Diego rapper combines his love for video games, classic cars, beautiful women and iced out jewelry, all with a polished cinematic touch.
Tizzy x Brandz, “Different Vibe”
UK duo Tizzy and Brandz have been making waves across the pond, with their viral hit “All Ways” helping them to solidify their place as one of London’s fastest rising and eclectic talents. For their new “Different Vibe” visual, which was directed by Tom Cubis and doubles as the lead single off their upcoming Modern Day Rockstars EP, the two teenagers can be seen celebrating their undeniable glow up, complete with models, a G-Wagon and other various party tricks.
Trippie Redd, “Hellboy”
For his latest collaboration with the 88rising collective, Trippie Redd chose to keep his new visual on brand, with the video for “Hellboy” sticking to his signature futuristic aesthetic and drawing inspiration from Asian culture. The new cut showcases the rapper’s creativity as he fights off a demonic enemy in a grimy warehouse.
