Fans of the hit STARZ series “Power” just knew that even though Ghost was out of jail and his son Tariq had been rescued from being kidnapped, the coast was far from clear for the St. Patrick family. Besides Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) reluctantly being tangled with a drug cartel and his wife Tasha taking on a new lover (just when we were rallying for her), Ghost’s attorney nonetheless, the series main clan is in for major misery. More than they’ve ever encountered. Tonight, the most shocking and heavy-handed heartbreaking event to happen on the show occurred. Raina St. Patrick, middle child of the clan, was shot to death by a crooked cop who was out to murder her brother, Tariq.
Despair will certainly be in abundance next week during the season finale, which is something the actors playing the lead couple on the show relish in real life. Naturi Naughton, who portrays the matriarch of the family, Tasha St. Patrick, revealed to REVOLT TV that she enjoys depicting a character in pain.
“There’s gonna be some major drama, tragedy, loss.,” she said. “This season is the deepest one yet for Tasha. And I think Omari and I had a really good time working on scenes as a family we had to deal with the brokenness. So I think it’s been good as an actress. Because I get to be challenged every day when I got to work. I love it.”
“Power” has continued to be must see this year and is coming down to its last episode of 2017. Fans have been calling it the best season yet and the demand to watch it is so feverish right now, some upcoming episodes leaked online before being taken down. “Power” airs Sunday on Starz at 9PM.
