Class is back in session. The XXL 2017 Freshman Class will be back together Wednesday (July 12) night for a monster concert that you can see live on Revolt.tv/Freshman. Starting at 8 p.m. Pacific Time, the much talked about Freshman class tapped by XXL Magazine take the stage at the Novo By Microsoft in Los Angeles, CA.

Last month XXL shocked the world once again by releasing the cover of their annual Freshman Class. Kyle, PnB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Amine, Ugly God, XXXTencion, Playboi Carti, MadeinTyo, Kap G and the sole female Kamaiyah made the cut, sparking both kudos and controversy with artist and fans alike. Especially on social media. This year is also a major milestone for XXL, with 2017 marking the 10th anniversary of their artist forecasting. (The very first class in 2007 featured the likes of Papoose, Plies, Joell Ortiz, Saigon and others were called “Leaders of the new School.”)

Also in June, REVOLT TV broadcasted the first Freshman concert this year with eight out of the 10 acts leaving New York City’s Playstation Theater in ashes (XXXTentacion and Playboi Carti had previous commitments and did not perform).

“The crowd was lit, all the artists were lit, tonight was really crazy,” PnB Rock, sitting backstage next to MadeinTYO told REVOLT TV in the aftermath of the show.
